Dental Hygiene

I recently just switched my career path from private practice to community health, and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of it. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for almost seven years now. Currently, I am a part of Grins on The Go – a non profit program led by Delta Dental of Idaho. We serve children in low-income schools by providing preventative services such as sealants, fluoride, and individual oral hygiene instructions. We provide these services by mobile dentistry; we pack up a van, unload our dental supplies and equipment at the school, and treat the oral health of children. I also serve no to low-income adults at Genesis Community Health by providing free limited dental services. Recently, I just joined the Idaho Oral Health Alliance and took the role of Referral Network Manager in hopes to connect medical providers to dental providers. I believe in oral health and the huge connection it has to our overall health.

I am a Boise native who loves everything Idaho; I continually love to explore it. I love to hike, mountain bike, run and cook. I am a big fan of my dog too. I am very lucky to be apart of these amazing programs to give back to my local community and Idaho.
